Social Engagement Groups Times and Registration

Preschool/Kindergarten Group

  • Monday-Thursday, 6/16-6/19

  • 9:00-11:00 am

  • $300

  • This is for children who:

    • can speak in phrases or sentences

    • want to work on using social language in daily interactions

    • are able to sustain attention for more than 2 minutes

Elementary Group

  • Monday-Thursday, July 14-17

  • 9-11 am

  • $300

  • at the Wooster Clinic (2714 Akron RD, Wooster OH, 44691)

  • This is for children who:

    • can speak in phrases or sentences

    • are looking to develop and use social language

    • can sustain attention for more than 5 minutes

AAC Device Group

  • Flexible age group

  • Tuesdays and Thursdays, July 22- August 14

  • 11:30 am-12:30 pm

  • $400

  • at the Wooster Clinic (2714 Akron RD, Wooster OH, 44691)

  • This is for children who:

    • have a personal AAC device

    • are verbal OR non-verbal

    • are interested in learning their device to engage socially with peers and adults

    • are open to working 1-on-1 with a therapist and volunteers

Teen Group

  • Teens with Autism and/or social skills needs

  • Fridays, July 18- August 8 (4 weeks)

  • 11:30 am-12:30 pm

  • $200

  • at the Wooster Clinic (2714 Akron RD, Wooster OH, 44691)

  • This is for teens who:

    • are verbal and want to improve social interactions

    • are open to sharing their interests with peers in a social setting

    • enjoy structured but fun group activities
