Social Engagement Classes
Social Engagement Groups
These small-group classes are designed for children and teens who need extra support developing social skills. Through play, games, hands-on activities, and guided conversations, participants will learn how to connect, communicate, and engage with others in an encouraging setting.
Preschool/Kindergarten Group
Building Early Social Skills Through Play!
This group is designed for young children who are beginning to develop social language. Through play-based activities, interactive games, and guided group conversations, kids will practice turn-taking, active listening, and basic peer interactions in a fun and supportive setting.
Who is this for?
Children who can speak in phrases or sentences
Working on using social language in daily interactions
Able to sustain attention for more than 2 minutes
Age Range: 3-5 years

Elementary Group
Age Range: 6-10 years
🗓 Dates: July 14-17 | ⏰ Time: 9-11 am | 💰 Cost: $300

Strengthening Social Confidence & Communication
This group is designed for elementary-aged children who need extra support in social interactions, conversations, and peer engagement. Kids will practice social language, teamwork, and problem-solving through hands-on activities, structured games, and small-group discussions.
Who is this for?
Children who can speak in phrases or sentences
Looking to develop and use social language
Able to sustain attention for more than 5 minutes
Age range: flexible age group
Must have AAC device
🗓 Dates: Starting July 22, Tues & Thurs, 4 weeks | ⏰ Time: 11:30-12:30
💰 Cost: $400

AAC Device Group
Empowering Communication Through AAC
This group is designed for children and teens who use AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices and want to build confidence in using their device to interact with others. Through guided activities, social scenarios, and one-on-one support, participants will learn how to effectively use their AAC device for social conversations and peer engagement.
Who is this for?
Children or teens who use an AAC device (verbal or non-verbal), who have access to personal devices
Goal to learn devices and develop and engage socially with adults and peers using their devices
Wanting to build communication confidence and engagement
Open to working 1-on-1 with a therapist and volunteers
Teen Group
Making Connections Through Shared Interests
This group is for teens with Autism or social skill challenges who want to engage in meaningful social interactions in a relaxed, interest-based setting. Each week, participants will share their hobbies, work on conversation skills, and bond over fun group activities like LEGO building, Minecraft, board games, and creative projects.
Who is this for?
Verbal teens who want to improve social interactions
Open to sharing their interests with peers in a social setting
Enjoy structured but fun group activities
Age range: teens with Autism and/or social skills needs
🗓 Dates: Starting July 18, Fridays, 4 weeks | ⏰ Time: 11:30-12:30 | 💰 Cost: $200
